Lauren Dela Roche is a self-taught artist living in St Louis, Missouri whose visual influences come from classical greek mythology, handmade embroideries, weavings, domestic interiors, music, and her own vivid dreamworld. Her drawings and paintings examine balance and unease at once: female nudes engage in ritualistic acts, cats and dogs live harmoniously, and wild animals appear tame and indoors. 

Dela Roche’s work has recently been shown at Eric Firestone Gallery (NY), the Armory Show and Art Basel Miami with Eric Firestone Gallery (NY) as well as at NADA Miami with HAIR & NAILS Gallery (MN).
