Gloucester Massachusetts 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

This colorful montage of scenes from Gloucester MA celebrates the 400th anniversary of the founding of the settlement back in 1623. The illustrations are by local artist Susan Field and of course include the famous 'Gloucester Fisherman', the iconic figure that gazes out to sea.

Gloucester is known all over N. America as an artist's colony, and has been home to such luminaries as Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, T.S. Eliot and Charles Olson.

It was also, until quite recently the largest fishing port on the East Coast of the USA.
