Los Angeles-based artist Pedro Pedro uses skewed perspectives and flattened surfaces to make everyday objects feel like they’re about to tumble off the canvas. In works like Plate with Cakes, Jelly Donut and Tiramisu, he captures indulgent, sugar-loaded scenes with a playful edge—equal parts tempting and uneasy. Though truth be told, some of the unease comes from not being able to eat cakes that look this good.

Pedro Pedro has exhibited widely, including a recent solo show, 'Picnic' at Fundacion la Nave Salinas in ibiza.

His work has also been featured in solo shows at the Hole in Los Angeles and in group exhibitions with Anat Ebgi and Nicodim galleries. He is based in Los Angeles.
