A rare mid-60s pop single once available as a souvenir at the World's Fair - held in the borough of Queens, New York in 1964 - ""World Fair Sue"" b/w "" World Fair Wiggle Walk"" was recorded by a charming outfit named The Welshmen, fronted by pop crooner Sammy Marshall - a name associated with the ""song poem"" genre. Marshall lent his voice to quite a few of these song poems, and this single is thought to be an example. The ""A"" side is a ballad ode to a girl named Sue, while the ""B"" side flip is an uptempo early 60s pop rocker - complete with electric guitar, piano, bass, saxophone and drums. This unusual gem, originally released in 1964, has been newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.
